AuthX™: An Enabling Technology to Stabilize Existing Documents

ANY existing Photo ID document can be secured and stabilized with AuthX. It is as simple as scanning the document, adding biometric information if desired, printing a barcode, and attaching the barcode to the document. Once under AuthX control, the document becomes machine-readable, network enabled, tamper resistant and highly secure. And retrofitting costs only a fraction of what it costs to reissue documents.

AuthX™ can be retrofitted to any document currently in use on U.S. borders, including passports, visas, government ID’s, and driver’s licenses. Because AuthX™ is designed to work with legacy systems, implementation and cultural adaptation issues by both document holders and security personnel are minimal.

Once enabled by AuthX, the document become machine-readable, network enabled, tamper resistant, biometric capable and highly secure. But most importantly, these documents now have the ability for Self-Authentication.
